Columbia Pictures Original Three Sheet Poster for the Richard Brooks maritime adventure, LORD JIM (1965) starring Peter O'Toole, James Mason, and Curt Jurgens. Art by Howard Terpning. The film is based on the Joseph Conrad novel about a seaman (O'Toole) who has been discredited as a coward and tries to redeem himself. Made after O'Toole had risen to fame as T.E. Lawrence in the David Lean epic LAWRENCE OF ARABIA, the movie is about another outsider. The film is rather better than it was initially received and features a wonderful score by Bronislau Kaper. Great cast, too. This poster is in good, average used, condition. Three sheets are large-format posters that are printed generally on two separate panels which are joined together to make one poster.
