Original U.S. Six Sheet Poster (79x80) for the Douglas Sirk directed film noir LURED (1947) starring Lucille Ball, George Sanders, Charles Coburn, Boris Karloff, Sir Cedric Hardwicke, Joseph Calleia, Alan Mowbray and George Zucco. This hybrid film noir / mystery / crime drama is one of the more interesting dramatic films of Lucille Ball's career. Although the film is set in London, it was made in Hollywood. A serial killer is murdering young women in London. The police are getting nowhere, and they enlist a friend (Ball) of one of the victims to lure the killer into the hands of the authorities. Directed by Douglas Sirk, the film is a taut little mystery with a great cast. Six sheets are large format poster which are printed on several panels, usually four.
