Original United Artists Three-Sheet Poster (41x81) for the Bernard Vorhaus romantic comedy, LUXURY GIRLS (1953) starring Susan Stephen, Anna Maria Ferrero, Jacques Sernas, Steve Barclay, and Rossana Podesta. The U.S. title is LUXURY GIRLS, but the original Italian title for the film is FANCIULLE DE LUSSO. This film follows the exploits of Lorna (Stephen), the daughter of an American playboy, who enrolls in a classy girl's school in the Alps. Podesta and Sernas made this picture before they landed their big roles in Warner Brothers super-epic HELEN OF TROY in 1955. U.S. stardom was not to be for either of them, however, although Sernas went on to a part in LA DOLCE VITA.
