Tri-Star Pictures Orginal U.S. One-Sheet Poster for the Costa-Gavras directed political-crime thriller MUSIC BOX (1989) starring Jessica Lange, Armin Mueller-Stahl, Frederic Forrest, Donald Moffat and Lukas Haas. The screenplay was written by Joe Eszterhas, and it was the second film that Eszterhas had worked with Costa-Gavras. A Hungarian-American immigrant is accused of being a war criminal. His daughter is an attorney, admirably played by Lange, who defends him. But what will she find out when she strives to uncover the truth? The film is based, at least in part, on the real life case of John Dmejanjuk, and from the experience of Eszterhas, whose own uncle, after having concealed his fascist past in Hungary, was revealed to be a war criminal.
