Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster for the Michael Curtiz directed musical-romance, MY DREAM IS YOURS (1949) starring Doris Day, Jack Carson, Eve Arden and S.Z. "Cuddles" Sakall. A very nice pearl on the necklace of movies that Doris Day made at Warner Brothers. The story is interesting because it follows - in a somewhat fictitious route, of course, Doris Day's own odyssey from band singer (with Les Brown) to Hollywood starlet. Doris plays the single mother Martha Gibson, who moves to California with only her talent and her young son. She soon shares an apartment with the best roomie ever, played deftly by the great Eve Arden. She's courted by the steady Jack Carson, and steered to the casting couch by Lee Bowman. Of course, she's Doris, so there's no real danger. The rest of the cast is marvelous: Adolph Menjou, Selena Royle, Edgar Kennedy, Sheldon Leonard, Franklin Pangborn and piano player Frankie Carle to name a few. The poster is a folded one sheet in very fine condition, with one small fold separation at the fold intersection.
