Description
Original French Petite Poster (16x21). Folded. Fine Condition.
Original French Petite Poster (16x21) for the Shohei Imamura drama, NARAYAMA BUSHIKO [THE BALLAD OF NARAYAMA] (1983). The film takes place in a poor 19th century Japanese village where everyone who reaches the age of 70 must climb a nearby mountain to die. The film was awarded The Golden Palm at Cannes in 1983. The poster is folded once, and shows modest signs of general wear. There are four staple-holes in the border area. The colors are vivid and there are no fold separations. The title of the film is written in marker on the reverse side of the poster - but the markings are not visible from the front. Therefore we have graded this poster as fine condition.
