Recently recognized as one of the masterpieces of Ida Lupino's career as a director, the film concerns a young girl who is raped. This was a mostly verboten topic in Hollywood films of this era, but Lupino approaches the story from an empathetic point of view. The film is made even more trenchant in the era of the MeToo movement. This card was used in a theater, and we have graded it in good condition.
