Original Fox Film Corporation One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Harry Lachman romantic comedy, PADDY THE NEXT BEST THING (1933) starring Warner Baxter, Janet Gaynor, Walter Connolly, and Margaret Lindsay. Janet Gaynor plays the spunky Irish daughter of Major Adair (Connolly), whose older sister (Lindsay) is about to marry a wealthy man (Baxter) that she doesn't really love in order to retire her father's debts. Gaynor marries the man instead; hence, the subtitle - The Next Best Thing. This original one sheet poster from the Royal Theater collection is folded and in very fine condition, with only some minor edge wear and minor staining in the border area.
