Original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Susan Stroman musical comedy, THE PRODUCERS (2005) starring Nathan Lane, Matthew Broderick, and Uma Thurman. Although this is a film based on a play based on an earlier film about a play, Mel Brooks originally envisioned the story as a play. Brooks wrote the new music by humming melodies into a tape recorder and later transcribed into an actual score. The original Broadway production opened at the St. James Theater on April 19, 2001 and ran for 2502 performancesÑwinning a record-breaking twelve Tonys. The film version was nominated for four golden globe awards. This original double-sided one sheet poster is rolled and in very fine condition.
