And we don't forget the child actor Tim Hovey. On this set of cards, which are in superb condition by the way, Joan spends a considerable amount of time on her back. Why this is we can only surmise. Crawford was on her third studio by 1955, having stepped down from MGM and then Warner Bros to Columbia. It was at Columbia that she made most of the movies that would enshrine her as a camp figure.
