Original United Artists Half Sheet Poster (22x28) for the Renato Castellani beloved Shakespearean drama, ROMEO AND JULIET (1954) starring Laurence Harvey, Susan Shentall, Flora Robson, and Norman Wooland. The production values of this film are quite good. The lavish costumes and sumptuous sets are all beautifully and artfully photographed by Robert Krasker; indeed, each frame is like a Renaissance painting. Some critics were amazed, however, that Castellani would completely cut out Mercutio's famous Queen Mab speech but then add vapid filler lines for Rosaline and other minor characters. This original half sheet poster is folded and in fine condition, with only minor tears and fold separations.
