In this delightful homage to the silent comedies of Chaplin, Keaton, and Lloyd-- aspiring filmmakers (Brooks, Feldman, and DeLuise) try to make a new and successful silent movie. In an effort to make the movie more successful, they attempt to recruit some big name stars, while the studio's creditors attempt to thwart them. Since there is only one word of dialogue spoken in the film, the rousing score by John Morris is particularly important and beautifully complements the action in the film.
