Original Polish Poster (27x38) for the Frantisek Vlacil family drama, SNAKE POISON (1981) [Original Czech Title: HADI JED]. This is certainly one of the best films about alcoholism in Eastern Europe. A daughter searches for the man who has been sending child support payments after her mother dies. She discovers that her father is a binge drinker who works on a remote oil-drilling site. She hopes that her love will bring an end to his drinking, but he eventually drives her and everyone else out of his life. With artwork by Wieslaw Walkuski, this original Polish poster is unfolded and in very fine condition.
