Original Polish Poster. 22 3/4 x 32 1/2. Folded. Very Fine Condition.

This is an original Polish 23 x 32 for the Gordon Douglas western, STAGECOACH (1966)-- starring Ann-Margret, Red Buttons, Mike Connors, Alex Cord, and Bing Crosby. This film is a remake of the 1939 John Ford classic of the same name; indeed, this new version uses the original 1939 Dudley Nichols screenplay. The story is about a group of unlikely traveling companions on the same stagecoach to Cheyenne. Even though they all have secrets, they discover that they must work together to stay alive when they are set upon first by Indians and then by a family of outlaws. The cast is well chosen, and they all give excellent and believable performances. Young Ann-Margret is quite memorable as the sultry-but-sweet Dallas, a fallen woman who would love a chance at redemption. This is also Bing Crosby's last film, a non-singing role as a disgraced, alcoholic doctor. The Polish title of this film is DYLIZANSU, but the tagline "Ringo-Kid" is more prominent on the poster.
