Original United Artists One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Woody Allen crime comedy, TAKE THE MONEY AND RUN (1969) starring Allen, Janet Margolin, Marcel Hillaire, Jackson Beck, and Jacquelyn Hyde. The film is a clever quasi-documentary about the life of a petty and totally incompetent criminal named Virgil (Allen). This was only Allen's second film as director, and he was still trying to work out a formula for translating his popular stand-up humor to film. Not every joke comes off successfully, but certainly there are many laugh out loud until you almost cry kind of moments in the film. Jackson Beck's FBI tough guy narration is perfect for making the outrageous situations seem "serious." This original one sheet poster is folded and in fine plus to very fine condition.
