Original Paramount Pictures Scene Lobby Card (11x14) for the John Farrow maritime adventure, TWO YEARS BEFORE THE MAST (1946) starring Alan Ladd, Brian Donlevy, and William Bendix. This film chronicles the adventures of the playboy son of a wealthy shipping magnate (Ladd) who discovers first hand the desperate privations suffered by the crew of one of his fatherÕs ships after he is unwittingly press ganged aboard. The screenplay was based on a novel by Richard Henry Dana Jr, which was a detailed expose of the mistreatment of sailors. This original scene lobby card of Ladd about to be lashed is in very good condition.
