Original Republic Pictures Scene Lobby Card (11x14) for the Frank McDonald musical western, UNDER NEVADA SKIES (1946) starring Roy Rogers (and Trigger), George "Gabby" Hayes, and Dale Evans. Rogers returns to his hometown and offers his aid to "acting sheriff" Hayes in solving a murder. Rogers was one of many actors who played in B-Western pictures during the thirties and forties. His was popular with his winning personality and a cute wife, Dale Evans, of course. But later in the 1950s he would rise to legendary status as The King of the Cowboys on television. In this card you see all of the characters in his films chilling together: Evans, Hayes and assorted Hollywood cowboys and Indians.
