It starts as a brisk gangster movie and ends up as a type of horror film. Karloff plays a pianist who is bad circumstances and is framed for a murder. He's sentenced to death, but that not the end of him. He comes back...as The Walking Dead. This atmospheric card of Karloff staring through the window of a door at a bewildered Churchill is clearly a great Karloff image. Condition is very fine plus.
