Warner Brothers Original U.S. One-Sheet Poster for the absurdist, auteurist film YOUNG EINSTEIN (1989) directed by and starring the Australian conceptual artist Yahoo Serious. A product of the art school environment the young Serious, whose name was, at that time, Greg Pead began his film as a documentarian, creating in the early seventies an interesting film about the history of coal mining. The film was COALTOWN. The next year he produced an accomplished TV series called LIFESTYLE. After spending a number of years traveling and performing comedy on the road, he struck gold and lot of it, when his film YOUNG EINSTEIN caught fire with international audiences. The film grossed over 100 million dollars. Two other films were made, but they did not resonate with audiences to the extent that YOUNG EINSTEIN did. Today Yahoo Serious is involved in philanthropy. This poster was used in a theater, but was never folded. It presents in fine plus condition.
