Original Columbia Pictures One-Sheet Poster (27x41), folded, for the Taylor Hackford directed film AGAINST ALL ODDS (1984), starring Jeff Bridges and Rachel Ward. This movie is a remake of the granddaddy of all film noirs OUT OF THE PAST (1947). Interest in film noir began to surge in the 1980s spawning several film which bore the tag "neo-noirs". One of the famous and most successful ones was BODY HEAT (1981). Here the remake is in color of course, and the eighties anthology soundtrack is good. Ward and Bridges produce some steam and Taylor Hackford does a workman like job with film. But like most remakes, it just isn't up to the original.
