Atlantis:The Lost Continent (1961) Original Movie Poster

Original MGM Three Sheet Poster (41x81) for the George Pal science fiction adventure, ATLANTIS, THE LOST CONTINENT (1961) starring Anthony Hall, Joyce Taylor, John Dall, and William Smith. If you can overlook the somewhat hammy acting, the film has many good qualities, including very colorful sets, outrageous costumes, and pretty good special effects for the time. It is an enjoyable film if you like exotic adventure stories with a Greco-Roman flavor, amplified by the imagination of the producer George Pal and the host of special effects people who had assisted with THE TIME MACHINE (1960) This original three sheet poster was folded and in average used condition, with some minor issues. We had the poster linen-backed and it now presents as very fine. Colors are vivid. MovieArt Original Film Posters in Austin, Texas guarantees that this poster is authentic.
