Original Columbia Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Seymour Friedman action adventure, FLAME OF CALCUTTA (1953) starring Denise Darcel, Patric Knowles, Paul Cavanagh, and George Keymas. In 1765 Calcutta, a French freedom fighter and a British officer fall in love and join forces against a villainous Indian prince. THE FLAME OF CLACUTTA (1953) was supposed to be a vehicle for French actress Denise Darcel, who was singing in cabarets in Paris in the late 40s. However, Darcel would gain little momentum in the 50's and made no films after 1961. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.
