The movie is a comedy about a woman out to get a rich husband in old New Orleans. But the husband she ends up with is not the one that was planned. The film is a very European U.S. film with Clair as the director and Rudolph Mate as the cinematographer. Universal was hoping to catch Dietrich with some of the allure that had characterized her Paramount Films. The art on this Italian poster, which was certainly a post war release, is by Carfagni.
