This is an American poster for the Federico Fellin movie I VITELLONI. One can see that the U.S. distributor has quickly reduced this film to potboiler status. In fact, the movie helped to re=establish Fellini's reputation after the failure of THE WHITE SHEIK in 1952. A light comedy, the film also introduced Alberto Sordi to audiences. Sordi remained a popular italian actor in European and American films. It's really a kind of coming-of-age story about five guys from different familes with different stories. Look for this film among Criterion's DVDs. This U.S. half sheet is folded and in very fine condition.
