Original British Front Of House Card (No. 2) in fine plus condition for the Nicholas Ray directed epic film KING OF KINGS (1961). The first KING OF KINGS was made by Cecil B. DeMille, but it was the maverick independent producer Samuel Bronston who made this version in 1961. And a very different version it is. The cast is chock full of European actors, and a young actor from action and western films, Jeffrey Hunter, was tapped to play Jesus. The scene on this card is from the sequence depicting The Sermon on the Mount. The card was used in a cinema and we have graded it in fine plus condition. The front of the card is quite fine, but there is some writing (in pencil) on the reverse side.
