Original French Grande Poster for the David Fisher movie LIAR'S MOON (1982) starring Matt Dillon, Cindy Fisher, Hoyt Axton, Yvonne DeCarlo and Broderick Crawford. The film was made when Matt Dillon was truly and up and coming young star. The story concerns two young people very much in love in 1940s East Texas. Matt Dillon plays the son of a working stiff and Cindy Fisher is the daughter of a prosperous local banker. They elope, against the wishes of their parents, but there is a unknown history that casts a pall over the lovers. This was the very last film of Broderick Crawford. Another interesting fact: the score was composed by Ray Benson, leader of the immortal Texas Swing Band Asleep at the Wheel. The film was distributed in France as LE CHALLENGER and it is no surprise that Matt Dillon dominates the poster. The poster is in very good condition, with some signs of use.
