Original Paramount Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Frank Perry biographical drama, MOMMIE DEAREST (1981) starring Faye Dunaway, Diana Scarwid, Steve Forrest, and Rutanya Alda. This best selling memoir turned motion picture depicts the abusive and traumatic upbringing of adopted Christina Crawford (Scarwid) at the hands of her mother, screen queen Joan Crawford. A month after its release to bad reviews, audiences flocked to see the film armed with Ajax and wire hangers to actively "participate" with the film in the manner of THE ROCKY HORROR PICTURE SHOW (1975). Paramount seized on this new found notoriety and began to bill the film as a camp classic, with ads proclaiming, "Meet the biggest MOTHER of them all." This original one sheet poster is folded and in fine condition with only some minor edge wear, a small amount of scribbling in the border, and minor fold distresses but no separations.
