Original Allied Artists One-Sheet Poster (27x41), linen-backed, for the Roger Corman directed science-fiction film NOT OF THIS EARTH (1957). The film stars Beverly Garland, Morgan Jones, William Roerick, Anna Lee Carroll, Jonathan Haze, Dick Miller and Paul Birch. The movie is about an alien who comes to Earth, uses the name Mr. Johnson and blends into the population without being noticed much. He's from the planet Davanna, and he's come to Earth to see if the blood of humans can help with a disease among the population of Davanna. A real mess of a film, the running time was only 67 minutes. One thing that was not a mess, however, was the poster, which is just a spectacular science-fiction one-sheet. The poster has been desired by collectors for decades. This example is on linen, colors are vivid, and there is some touch up to fold lines and some very minor restoration.
