Original Universal Pictures One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the Sydney Pollack African adventure drama, OUT OF AFRICA (1985) starring Meryl Streep, Robert Redford, and Klaus Maria Brandauer. This masterpiece follows the life of Karen Blixen (Streep), a Danish baroness who established a plantation in Africa. The film is excellent in almost every respect; indeed, it was nominated for eleven Academy Awards. It won seven Oscars - including Best Picture, Best Director to Pollack, Best Cinematography, and Best Screenplay. This original one sheet poster is folded and in very good condtion, with a very small water stain in the border and a small chip missing from the lower right border area.
