Ellis Film Re-release one-sheet poster for the film LE PIEGE (1958). The original U.S. title was NO ESCAPE, and the film was subsequently re-released in the U.S. as ANY MAN'S WOMAN. We believe this garish poster dates from the 1960s. Here the film is being marketed as an exploitation film. Many rather routine movies from Europe were repackaged in the U.S. as something perhaps racier than they really were. This is a rather gritty little crime drama, but from this poster you would think it's a sex film.
