Original United Artists One Sheet Poster (27x41) for the George Marshall musical comedy, POT O' GOLD (1941) starring James Stewart, Paulette Goddard, Horace Heidt, and Charles Winninger. This is the movie version of a popular radio program of the same name that featured musical routines. It is a romantic comedy told in musical form with Stewart playing one of his trademark common man "personas" -- who could also sing. And though audiences did not usually associate Stewart with singing, he is actually pretty good. This delightful film is meant to be funny, a little madcap, and always sweet. This original one sheet poster has some minor flaws-- including edge wear, cross-fold separations, pinholes, an extra crease at the vertical fold, and a small chip on the right side that has paper tape on the front and back. The overall condition is fine plus.
