In this third installment of the Rocky saga, Rocky has been enjoying the status and wealth of being world champion, but he is challenged by the arrogant Clubber Lang (Mr. T in his film debut). Lang wins and becomes the new champion. But the former champion Apollo Creed (Weathers) still believes in Rocky and volunteers to retrain him to win back his title.
