This bit of sentimental nonsense was originally titled CARNIVAL STORY, and was intended as a film for Betty Hutton. But the MGM team decided to reunited Esther Williams and Red Skelton. They had made two other successful movies for the studio, and this would be the third. The film stars Williams, Skelton and MGM's stellar baritone Howard Keel. Throw in the Texas tapdancer deluxe Ann Miller, and you have a Texas Carnival indeed. This poster was used in an Italian cinema and shows some signs of gentle wear.
