Two years before Doug McKeown played Jane Fonda's disaffected son in ON GOLDEN POND, he was seen in this, his first movie, as a young crippled boy who bonds with an embittered trumpet player. The film was a sentimental heart-tugger from a prestigious productions team which got little notice with audiences. Burt Young is excellent, as always. The art on this poster is a R. Herndel.
