Original MGM Lobby Cards, eight individual cards, for the Barbra Streisand musical drama, YENTL (1983) starring Streisand, Mandy Patinkin, Amy Irving, and Nehemiah Persoff. Streisand both starred in and directed this "film with music" about a young girl who goes to a Jewish religious school, dressed as a boy, to receive religious instructions. Perhaps no other film bears this stellar singer's imprint as much as this film. With extraordinary music by Michel Legrand, and some very pretty cinematography by David Watkin, YENTL is a striking testament to Streisand's talents. These cards are in very fine condition and feature some lovely photography of the principals.
