Original Walt Disney Productions Three Sheet Poster (41x81) for the Herschel Daugherty western drama, THE LIGHT IN THE FOREST (1958) starring Fess Parker, Wendell Corey, Joanne Dru, Carol Lynley, and James MacArthur. Based on the Conrad Richter novel, this film is the story of a young white male (MacArthur) who was abducted from his Pennsylvannia home when he was four and spent his whole life raised by a Native American tribe. But now the terms of a new peace treaty with the British require all white captives must be returned to their true families. Now, alienated and sullen, this unhappy young man must learn to live with the people he was taught to hate. This original three sheet poster is folded and in very fine condition.
