Universal International Original Italian Four Foglio (79x55) poster for the Jack Arnold directed drama MAN IN THE SHADOW (1957). Chandler plays a sheriff who must confront the town boss when a bracero worker is murdered. Chandler was a big star at Universal when this film was released in November of 1957. Welles ended up in the movie after another actor was replaced, and he appeared in it to raise money he needed to pay the IRS. Welles touched up the script a bit also (uncredited).
