Description

Original U.S. Scene Lobby Card (11x14) Fine Condition

RKO PIctures Original U.S. Scene Lobby Card (11x14) for the Leigh Jason comedy / variety film NEW FACES OF 1937. The film was a routine depression era musical comedy with a showbiz story line. It starred Joe Penner, Milton Berle, Harriet Hilliard (of OZZIE AND HARRIET fame) and ANN MILLER. And a bunch of singers and hoofers. Three of those hoofers were The Three Chocolateers. One of the amazing precision tap dancing teams of the era, The Chocolateers appeared in three other films, including a uncredited appearance in The Marx Brothers A DAY AT THE RACES (1937). Here they are shown on a stage with a humorous demonic set. The group consisted of Albert "Gip" Gibson (1913), Paul Black and Esvan Mosby. The group introduced their most famous song "Peckin'" to the general public in this film. This card is seriously rare. MovieArt Original Film Posters in Austin, Texas guarantees this lobby card to be authentic. MovieArt Austin does not sell reproductions.
