Paramount Pictures Original U.S. One Sheet Poster for the David Steinberg directed comedy PATERNITY (1981) starring Burt Reynolds and Beverly D'Angelo. This poster is a deluxe style for the New York City Metro area, a bit larger (30 x 45) that the normal one-sheet. The film is all about taking up the reigns of fatherhood, and Burt Reynolds is shown on the poster miming Uncle Sam in that famous enlistment poster by James Montgomery Flagg. Reynolds plays a man named Buddy Evans who works for Madison Square Garden in New York. He wants to become a father, but he has no wife. He meets a woman who is willing to bear his child (for money to move to Paris) and there the fun begins. A nice cast, too, with appearances by Paul Dooley, Elizabeth Ashley, Lauren Hutton.
