Original Columbia Records Promotional Poster (36x36) for the Soundtrack LP for RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK (1981). The score for the famous film was composed by John Williams. This is, of course, not a movie poster but rather a poster for record retailers selling the album. This poster was created for advertising the release of Columbia LP JS 37373. The poster has the same art by Richard Amsel that appears on the LP cover, which is the same as the first U.S. one-sheet poster. It also has a notation on the bottom of the poster which reads OP 37373 RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK TM © Lucasfilm LTD (LFL) 1981. This denotes that this poster was used for promotion of the first issue of the LP in the USA. This poster was never folded, but has some edge-wear issues, small tears and a small area missing in the lower left corner. MovieArt Austin does not sell reproductions. Furthermore, in the case of this poster, we do not believe that the soundtrack poster has ever been reproduced commercially.
