Paramount Pictures Original Italian 39x55 (Two-Foglio) poster for the Billy Wilder directed drama STALAG 17 (1953). One of the most famous prisoner-of-war movies every made. The film starred William Holden, whom you see on the poster full face, Also Don Taylor, Richard Erdman, Robert Strauss, and Michael Moore. With a famous performance by Otto Preminger, usually behind the camera but this time appearing as an actor. In the post war period of the 1950s, this film was extremely popular and resonated with veterans who had served in World War II.
