The Jungle Book (1942) Original Movie Poster

We are not merely excited but proud to offer this extraordinary Italian poster for Zoltan Korda's spectacular film of Rudyard Kipling's THE JUNGLE BOOK (1942). The poster measures 40 x 81 inches. Although we cannot be sure, this may be the only surviving example of this poster. It is a horizontal large-format offset lithograph. Superb athletic art of Sabu and Patricia O'Rourke. We don't know who the artist is. We acquired the poster in good condition. Colors were vibrant, but there were some minor defects. We had the poster linen-backed in California. We wanted a conservative approach to restoration, and there was very little paint or color applied. We have graded the poster to be in fine condition. There are several adaptations for film of THE JUNGLE BOOK. The Korda Brothers' production, however, still shines in Technicolor, beautifully photographed by Lee Garmes and W.
