Original Swedish Poster (28x35) for the Edward Sedgwick comedy, THE PASSIONATE PLUMBER (1932) starring Buster Keaton, Jimmy Durante, Polly Moran, and Irene Purcell. This early talkie comedy tells the story of Elmer (Keaton), a plumber in Paris, who is enlisted by beautiful Patricia (Purcell) to help her make her lover jealous. As you might expect, there are numerous complications and unintended consequences. This was MGM's first attempt to promote Keaton and Durante as a comedy team. This poster was backed on a very old European style muslin backing. We had the poster cleaned and freshly linen-backed. It presents very nicely indded.
