Original Swedish Poster (28x35) for the Edward Sedgwick comedy, THE PASSIONATE PLUMBER (1932) starring Buster Keaton, Jimmy Durante, Polly Moran, and Irene Purcell. This early talkie comedy tells the story of Elmer (Keaton), a plumber in Paris, who is enlisted by beautiful Patricia (Purcell) to help her make her lover jealous. As you might expect, there are numerous complications and unintended consequences. This was MGM's first attempt to promote Keaton and Durante as a comedy team. This original stone lithograph Swedish poster is in good condition only. We recommend re-linenbacking the poster, but it is not necessary in order to display it. The poster is currently on an old Euro-style linen. A wonderful, wonderful Swedish poster from the early 1930s.
